and I was doing so well…

with avoiding lurgies that is! I had such a huge run of bad luck, it was literally one virus after another for 18mths. I think my final count was 17 viruses in that time. The worst I’ve ever been with the bug catching. Now after a few months bug free, my son has had a bit of a cold and now I think I’m getting it. Really not good timing as it’s my birthday very soon and could muck up something I hope will happen next weekend (yes I’m being mysterious!) and I finally got round to asking the a/c man to come and strip down my a/c unit and clean it out and he wants to come tomorrow morning. I was dreading asking thinking it was going to cost me loads so I was pleasantly surprised he only quoted me £50 (approx $80). I don’t particularly want to be curled up in bed, sniffling and snorting and having choking fits galore (always the way when I have a virus and even when I don’t have one I get coughing/choking fits thanks to my nervous system problem). How embarrassing. I will see how I am later, I may end up having to cancel.

Lets hope this virus doesn’t come to much.
