I’m such a bad girl!

It’s been absolutely ages since I last posted but life has been rather hectic with one thing and another. Studying, becoming involved in another venture (oh I do love my projects!) and of course battling along trying to cope with my numerous illnesses.

I’m currently having to decide whether I will renew my tenancy for my house this Oct. Housing benefit has been cut somewhat from next month and I’ll only get £730 a month for a house which is £995 a month! Ouch. Most rental prices are now £850-£900 round my way. Which means a big chunk out of my income support to  cover the rest. Only problem is my son officially reaches school leaving age this Friday and would like to find a job if he can (in this economic climate that’s going to be a struggle anyway!). As soon as he starts a job my income gets cut for him and all I’ll have left is £100 a week. I don’t even know how I’ll be able to eat let alone cover the rest of the rent.

We had a house check from the lettings agency yesterday and she did say ask for  reduction in the rent price because the market rent is lower now but I can’t see my greedy, tight-fisted landlady agreeing to that! But then I can’t see her finding new tenants to replace us that will pay the rent it is now. We recently had the shower break yet again for the 4th time, she likes to buy the cheapest shower possible. She made us wait 3wks for it, again.

I really don’t want to move. The upheaval of moving while I’m this ill is immense. Not to mention the cost and I have to somehow arrange for my air conditioner to be taken out and installed in the new place the day I move.

This certainly is a un-setlling time in my life right now.

As for the chiropractor in my last post… I didn’t have it done. I have struggled through since then with some days ok and others not but I’ve gone from the, ‘I can’t take it anymore’ to ‘I’ll manage a bit longer’.

I have been trying to sit up more for an hour or two most days with my feet on the floor instead of being slightly reclined on the bed all day, it seems to have helped the POTS somewhat, just a slight improvement but I’ll take whatever I can get!
